B.o.B

Sometimes it pays to be different. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, a city known for its outcasts, B.o.B is truly out of the ordinary. At just 19 years old, the rapper - born Bobby Ray Simmons - has become a breath of fresh air in Atlanta's snap and trap-obsessed scene. Known primarily for his heavy smokers anthem, "Cloud 9," and the frenetic energy of his song "Haterz Everywhere," B.o.B scored a record deal with Atlantic Records while he was still in high school. Now, the teen-aged rap phenomenon is ready to bring his genre-bending style nationwide with his highly anticipated debut, The Adventures of B.o.B and his smash single "Nothing On You". Please Please this album will be surely different we believe its a must have at least for future references.

Rick Ross X Freeway Ricky Ross

Rick Ross might be finding himslef in some trouble with court. Now that the real “Freeway” Rick Ross, is out of jail he’s ready to reclaim the rights to his name. The infamous L.A.-based drug trafficker is planning a lawsuit against Miami rapper Rick Ross (real name William L. Roberts II), for profiting off the unlawful use of his name, along with Def Jam, Universal, and others. XXLmag.com spoke to both Ross and his lawyers today (May 25) to find out more about their case.

Rumors hit the internet this morning, claiming that both parties are set to go to court this summer. Ross’ attorney clarified with XXL that a date hasn’t been scheduled yet because the suit hasn’t been formally filed. However, a cease and desist letter (a formality generally preceding lawsuits) on behalf of Ross has been sent to Def Jam and they’re currently waiting for a response, if any.
